DEWATER D
Water-Displacing Corrosion Preventive Fluid
DEWATER D is a solvent-based corrosion preventive fluid specifically designed to remove water from metal surfaces and replace it with a protective hydrophobic film layer. This water-displacing property ensures effective corrosion protection for wet metal parts immediately after washing, surface treatment, or machining processes.
The product forms a thin and uniform protective film that protects metal components from corrosion during storage, transportation, and packaging. Its formulation contains low-viscosity hydrocarbons with a neutral odor and does not contain barium or its compounds
Key Performance Advantages
Superior water-displacing (dewatering) capability
Excellent corrosion protection for metal surfaces
Forms a thin protective oil film
Neutral odor formulation
Free from barium compounds
Suitable for spraying, dipping, or brushing applications
Easy removal with alkaline or solvent-based cleaners
Application Areas
DEWATER D is recommended for:
Metal parts immediately after washing or surface treatment
Automotive components before packaging
Machinery parts and equipment protection
Tools and bulk metal components
Temporary or final corrosion protection during storage or transport
The product is widely used after processes such as galvanizing, phosphating, or other surface treatments to ensure immediate corrosion protection
Application Method
DEWATER D can be applied through:
Immersion (recommended for serial production)
